The Snowy River Winery has been a tourism icon since the early 80's for visitors to the Snowy Mountains region of New South Wales.

Snowy River wine is only available now via mail order or online ordering from the www.snowywine.com web site.

The first grapes were planted in 1984 and features Sieger Rebe, Australia's only commercial planting. An aromatic, early ripening fruit reaching its full ripeness two months before other grape varieties.

Other varieties are, Mueller Thurgau, Sylvana and Rhein Riesling. All varieties originate from Germany and are ideal for cold climate viticulture featuring long slow ripening for extra flavour.
